Living A Balanced Life




Living a well-balanced life is crucial for your health, happiness, and well-being. Not only will you feel like your best self, but you will also find that more balance in your life will boost your productivity, manage your stress levels, and help you live to your fullest potential.


For me, Reiki is a lifestyle of creating balance. Balance is a state of mind, it’s about how I’m feeling. It also means I’m aligning my actions with my intentions, making progress towards my goals, and adjusting when things don’t feel aligned.


When I feel balanced, I feel clear-headed, focused, and motivated. I’m able to deal with day-to-day stressors without getting stuck or overwhelmed. I’m able to enjoy happy moments and simple pleasures in the moment.


6 Tips for Creating Balance


1. Self-care- Do something that makes you feel relaxed and recharged. Taking time for yourself works wonders for your mood, mental health, and self-esteem.


2. Avoid Negativity – Adapting a positive mindset and staying away from negative influences is essential for inner peace and happiness.


3. Embrace a healthy lifestyle – It’s important to invest in your physical and mental wellbeing. Eat healthy, get enough sleep, hydrate, and move your body.


4. Expand your horizon – Get excited and learn something new Research shows dopamine is closely linked to the learning process. Learning is positive for your mental health.


5. Stress-less – stress is part of everyone’s life. The goal of a healthy balanced life is not to eliminate stress but to learn how to manage it by developing coping skills, simplifying, and creating an awareness of our responses to the world around us

6. Practice Gratitude - A little gratitude can do wonders for your mood. When you practice gratitude, you shift your thoughts away from negative emotions and uncomfortable sensations. Instead, you focus on the good things that you may have overlooked. This kind of thinking leads to a release of serotonin and dopamine, chemicals in the brain that are associated with happiness and pleasure.


Don’t forget to practice being present in the moment, enjoy the little things, and laugh. laughter boosts the immune system, protects the heart, and lightens your load when you’re feeling down.
